I made this layout for my parents' scrapbook. The photo is from their 40th anniversary party, and the newspaper clipping is what was published in the local paper on the same day. I got the idea of the heart from one of Gabriellep's layouts (thank you). I cut it out of construction paper and stiched "x's" and and round red beads on it (like "o's") and added gold and white glitter. I used a stamp from "Portia's mom" and two dragonfly stamps and created glitter trails behind the dragonflies using a toothpick, glue and glitter. I "doodled" the scrolling and stitched black bugel beads over it here and there, and glued on various flowers. The larger dragonfly is made out of construction paper and vellum (for the wings--with glitter, of course). I wanted to creat a whimsical, romantic, fairy-tale feel to the layout.
