I didn't mind the punches myself but when I saw your pages that don't have them, I changed my mind. I think to keep the flow, this 2-pager could go without them...I really like the fiber you went with on the other pages.

Lving your background papers and how you used them... It really gives a washed up beach feel to it.. Like the tide rolling in... I must agree with Katie though... I'm also not feeling the punches.

I love how you placed your background papers to look like an island. I would take the punches out. The photo placement and title looks great on this page.

I really like this! The photos are gorgeous, you chose your background colors perfectly. I would probably just skip the punches altogether - it will have a more adult feel to it (though they are cute).

Hi Sharon! I love the colors and the textured mat behind your title block. I really do get that "relaxed/sea-side" feeling when I look at this. I am with you on the punches, however, and understand your dilemma about being able to remove them. My only suggestion, going to sound strange, would be to try adding even more of them. In fact, you could add so many more that it looks like a textured "wave" or "line" upon first glance, instead of a sticker sneeze, but then the more you look at it the little shapes unfold. Sometimes when I make a mistake that I can't undo I find if I run with it often it looks better than just leaving it, but that's my opinion. If you do decide to try that I would suggest using vellum and see how that looks (maybe make it a play on the "foam" of the waves you have in this already. I am rambling way too much now... but, truth be told, for me the diff is always in the little details! Oh, and I can also see another straw mat, set at an angle, underneath the pictures on the right of the page.. whew... now on to page two.

Well, I have to say that I like the photo placement. With the waves at the bottom, it evokes the feeling of something floating on the tide. The only thing that I would suggest is the matting of the photos be similar. That's all I got! Great LO. I am sooooo envious!

Love the colors ,the mesh behind the journaling block, the photos! I think you should make the photo of the beach-the one without your Dh-bigger. then you can put the other two photos closer to the big one.

I really like how you have done the title and the colours! I like the placement of the photos but my eye is not attracted to a particular one. Maybe make the matting bigger so it stands out or use some more twine? As you are after a 'calm' LO I would also be tempted to straighten the pics. Great start

what is that behind the paper on the top left? i love it, whatever it is.. adds something good. I think with the photos I'd move them closer together and straighten them up a bit. Love all of the layers of pp. beautiful photos

Hi Sharon. LOVE the colors here. Makes me upset there's snow outside. I love how you can layer also, your layouts have so much depth and dimension. The photos are beautiful but I am unsure about the placement. I think it's too random and it should be more or less in a line to add more flow. I also think that the mattings should all be the same width. I would also bring in a bracket of the same pp you did on the other side.
