I'm just begining to work on an album of my parents wedding. My mom past away Sept. 2005. I can relate to your statement about working on it without tears. Good luck and God bless.
My Momma's Memorial Album Pg 3" This is the 3rd page of of a special 7x7 Memorial Album I am doing in memoriam of my mother who passed in 1988 at the age of 32. This is a picture of my parents at a Valentine's Banquet at their church. My mother, the queen seamstress (who made her own wedding dress) made both the dress she is wearing in this picture and my father's suit; even though they were just dating. The picture on the left is of my father's prom at Brandon High and of course, the same holds for their clothing in this picture as well. I really miss her! Due to a tragic situation, we have very few pictures left of our family collection and I have very few with which to work. I chose to use photo corners on these pages, which is a complete diversion from my normal work. I really felt though that I need to use the actually photos in the album, but wanted them still accessible for copies or future needs. I also began making this during my time as a Creative Memories Consultant, so I plan the book to be completely CM product only. This is especially useful to new consultants that may be struggling to make demo books with strictly CM products. This project is very close to my heart and I will be very happy to see it come to fruition. I just find it hard to work on without tears welling
