This is the first layout of our vacation to New Mexico for Spring Break. I'm trying to keep it pretty "Manly" since my husband planned the whole trip and we were camping (no sissy flowers...yet). He even picked out some of the stickers - way to be involved! I'm trying to be artistic with the layouts, but for some reason vacation pictures just lend themselves to stickers and I'm such a sucker for them -LOVE EM! So I did some "sticking it up". however I liked the way it turned out and the Bandelier bookmark was such a great (cheap) embellishment. I'm planning to hand journal most of this trip as I also think hand journaling makes it more special - I'll pretend my handwriting is acceptable. Side journaling says, "Maddie and Daddy had so much fun exploring the ancient pueblo ruins." Love this paper from Provo Craft - I cut the rocks out on the edges to give it more of a 3D appearance.
