These were taken at my son's first birthday party. I'm not so good at close-ups, so when I found these in amongst my pictures, I was so happy! I only hope that I can repeat the process over the next 17 years so I can put together a whole album of beautiful close-ups of his beautiful face. I used chalk to outline the letter and journal boxes and to fill in the handprint. I also used yarn to stitch around the one picture.
