This is my Grandfather on my Dad's side, when he was in the Army. Journaling ~ My Grandfather Syd, 1940. Both of my Father's parents live in England and I have only ever met them once, when I was 3 years old. This photo was taken when My Grandfather was in the Army. I don't know a lot about this time, but my father tells me that Grandad never liked to talk about it very much. Still, he looked handsome in his uniform.
