That's right, NO flowers...I'm all for that challenge (missed it though, darn!) I love the defs on the photos & really love the framing you did on them too.
Love it Love it LOVE it!!!!! But then I don't think there's been a LO by you yet that I didn't love everything about. Can I be you when I grow up??? *LOL* Seriously though. I don't know how you do it!! I was going to join that challenge. But I never did.
Awesome pictures, and I LOVE the paper tearing with the inking and stamping- it made such beautiful frames!!!! I also love the big clock you created with the large hands under the title!!!!! The ideas you come up with amaze me!!!
oh great job! (ive seen alot of the other's submitted and they still have some hint of femininity in them, but you got it just right with yours!) like the other person down below said,,, yours just screams masculine. :)
Gosh, I love how you were able to use all these BEAUTIFUL papers, STILL use your swirly stamps and gemstones... yet this page just SCREAMS masculine! I LOVE the big clock in the upper corner.... *sigh*
WOW!!!! Fantastic page here!!! LOve the torn and stamped edges, and the clocks (big and little), they are so cool! Cool how you inked the letters too. This is wonderful and I bet he loves it!!
Terrific tribute to your very significant other. I love the subtleties of the floursihes and bling. they add the necessary sparkle so the whole masculine thing doesn't become too heavy handed. what a wonderful use of tearing and I like the look of the text on the photos. the lime green title letters look great against all the deep blues, browns and the black. And the white script journaling areas are a nice foil as well. So wonderful to be able to look at this fine work. TFS
Wonderful page Gabrielle, I love 7 Gypsies, there is so much to look at on the layout a favorite again, and yes very masculine. Thanks for sharing again Sue :)
Great job on this Manly layout!!!! I love the pp you chose and the journaling is so awesome!!!! I am working on a Manly page, but boy, oh boy...... I sure want my flowers!!!!!!! You give me inspitation, thanks!!! This is just wonderful, is there anything you CAN'T do!!! lol!! Great job!
I'm trying soooo hard right now to do a masculine lo for my dad and it's NOT working!! Good thing you've got the mojo, I can keep looking at this for inspiration!! LOVE the background pp!!
Oh my gosh, I love this!!! I've always loved paper-tearing of any kind and this is perfect. The papers are wonderful for a masculing page and I absolutely love that big clock! Fantastic page Gabi!!! A fav for sure!!
This took me a few minutes to absorb the details - and it is truly wonderful. I love how you incorporated the definition stickers and then your own journaling strips are beautifully written. The stamping, pps, clocks and dark jewels give it this "old man" feel (and I don't mean your husband) because it just has this dark, leathery, old school bookstore kind of appeal. Stunning to say the least, oh so very manly and into my favorites. You can tell how much you absolutely love your guy with how quickly you whipped this masterpiece up - sick kid and all. Thanks for sharing this!
This is awesome and very masculine!!! I love the journaling beside the photos. I really love how you incorporated the stamping and yet the page still has that 'manly' feel!! Paper selection is lovely! Love those clock faces!!
This is for the 'Do your man justice' challenge, no blooms or girly stuff LOL!! I haven't done paper tearing in ages but thought it would look good with a masculine layout.
