After a 15 year search I finally found my birth mother Teri Edwards. This was last NOV and since then we have been in constant contact gotten to know my half siblings and you hear the horror stories the devastating rejection after such a long search but you never really expect to find yourself so completely embraced and its such a contrast to the family I grew up with where everyone was deceitful and selfish. I had a rough time growing up and a handful of people along the way helped me see past the negativity that I was surrounded in. Now 28 a mother and wife living overseas I am suddenly surrounded but nothing but positivity and encouragement. It has me baffled. Such a simple gift. A luggage carrier for my 3 year old with a note that he should use it when we fly over to see her in may. This will be the reunion and yet as simple as it was it made me realize just how increadible they really are. I am truly thankful for this gift this year has brought me. So I am putting together an album for her and this is part of that.
