This was done for the April Round Robin Scraplift challenge. I'm in the purple group position #4 and had to scraplift off of # 3 who is L.J.H.fromR.I. . She had a terrific layout so it was a tough act to follow. My scraplift includes using two photos, picture placement, use of ribbon/lace above and below the bottom photo, partial title placement, separated title placement, one flower embelli, One embelli over lapping the top photo, photo corners, min tags. scalloped boarders. The song I used was Beautiful Day by U2. One because it's one of my favorite songs from my all time favorite group in the whole world. And two because my DH and I TRULY had a beautiful wedding day!! September 21, 2002. The colors in the LO match our wedding colors, light lilac purple and white. She did a lot of sewing machine stitching by sewing machine. I don't have a sewing machine and can't stitch by hand very well yet so I used quilling strips instead inside the boarders. I used the sparkle type of letters because our wedding was an evening wedding and there were thousands of twinkle lights all around our ceremony site as well as our reception.The bottom photo is of our cake and champagne table. Our champaign bottle was chilled in one of two huge ice sculptures that we had, that was shaped like a glass slipper. We had a Cinderella theme wedding and the bottle was nestled into the toe of the slipper. Our cake was soooo neat!! It was Chocolate with cherry filling on the bottom tier, yellow cake with vanilla filling in the middle tear and marbled top tier. It had three stair cases that went off the main tiered cake that led to three different cheesecakes that were all different flavors. It was decorated in white frosting with pearls, and fresia and lilac flowers. It was a fantastic night to remember and cherish and was absolutely beautiful!! =)
