Hi Kathie - I remember those days! What a pretty layout for a lovely memory! Love the curves and the flourishes... very feminine - and of course the flowers. Beautiful!
Journaling: It was 1983, the year of the great Cabbage Patch doll hunt. If a store did get them in stock, they were snatched up within 5 minutes. I had you convinced there were no more dolls in the state of Indiana, and told you not to be disap-pointed, but I didn’t think I would be able to find one. I did find one, but it had blonde hair and blue eyes. I bought it anyway. When I got home, I called my best friend, Tommy. She said she found one for little blonde haired, blue eyed Jessica, but the doll had brown hair and brown eyes. I asked if she wanted to trade. Of course she did. I wrapped it and put it under the tree with the other presents with a tag “Open Me Last”. When you opened it, your face said it all. Merry Christmas Honey!!! -- Mom
