how about a little dowel to put them on, and chunky end to put the dowel into, like the old tinker toys....then they would turn...just a thought, and a really clever idea...
This is just my ghetto version of something to stick my bobbin ribbon in. I used a paper towel tube, covered it in paper, used ribbon to cover the edges and tucked the ends inside the tube. I tied a ponytail holder around the middle to keep it tightly together so the ribbon doesn't fall out. The reason it is cut open is because originally I was going to use it with the ribbon hanging out through the cut, but I don't have enough spools yet so they slide around inside. I am trying to think of a way to maybe hold them in place inside (some kind of easy dividers) so I can feed the ribbon through the crack. But if not, it's still useful to hold them in. I just slide off the ponytail holder and pop it open to get what I need. Oh, and the price was right...LOL
