Not that I'm just gung ho about showing off my backside to the WWW, bu these are the sacrifices we make to capture a picture that captures a moment. JOURNALING: it is only for a moment you are mine to hold - oh my sweet angel bug. i know there is coming a day when the last thing you are going to want to do is walk hand in hand with me somewhere. wasn’t it just yesterday you were gripping my finger because that’s all your tiny hand could hold? i am so proud to be your mom. you are a reflection of everything that is good and not so good about me. you are the ultimate accountability partner. this picture makes me want to think that you are proudly showing me off as your mommy. that you are as proud of me as i am of you. may we walk down many, many more roads together before you let you go. and may i never do anything that would not make you proud of me. but that day of letting go is coming. if you’re not going to hold my hand, hold someone’s. and hopefully that someone will be Jesus.
