Journaling reads:
We spent your 2nd birthday at Reiman Gardens with Garnny & Grandpa. You and Nicholas were just thrilled with the butterflies and flowers. I thought we'd go for an hour or so but we ended up staying all afternoon because you were having so much fun. Matthew said it was better than Chuck E. Cheese's! :)

Additional journaling:
Reiman Gardens is the largest public garden in Iowa. They have a beautiful butterfly conservatory that you can walk through. Of course, we had to take off our coats and any hoods before we entered because the butterflys try to get out in our clothing. We had to be really careful walking through it because sometimes a butterfly would be on the walk way. You were so in awe of the butterflies and flowers. You seem to have a gentle touch when it comes to all animals.

For the challenge- the popsicle sticks are under the fabric on the title, the paper clips have sizzix butterflies on them - raised with pop dots and butterflies sewn with floss, I took two sheets of bazzil paper (white and artic) and cut them in half and then used the fabric to tie them together - fabric also used in background. Pipe cleaners - are on second spot of journaling - one is wrapped in fabric and then the other one around it and sewn onto cardstock. index card in lower corner covered with patterned paper. I think you can see everything else pretty easily.

P.S. Got my new digitial camera from Santa early but I'm still working on the kinks on how to use it - there are some lighted areas and others that looked darker than they appear on layout but....I'll work on using my new toy for the next round!! :)
