I used the paper that comes in the back of the AE "A Designers Eye pp." The word "scrapbook" was made on my Cricut. Chipboard letters by HS. The journaling on vellum is: "I'd like to say it's because I want to preserve memories for future generations, (which I have to admit I'd love to see a scrapbook of my grandmother) but it's not. It's the creative process that I love, thanks to my mom. When I was a little girl my mom taught me to embroider. I have done ceramics, crochet, knitting & cross-stitch. But unlike the other crafts, the creative process is different with scrapping because I'm not following any kind of pattern but creating my own. Choosing the perfect color of paper to match a series of photos just gets my juices flowing; along with the texture, colors, and patterns of the different paper manufacturers; Rusty Pickle-Bazzill-Wild Asparagus-daisyd's, Basic Grey and so on. Some people say I'm using my God given talent; but I say I'm using my Mom given talent for a wonderful artistic creativity that I inherited from her. Thanks mom
