My Father's Eyes

I wanted to make this very simple and not girly in any way. This is my brother-in-law with new baby son, Caleb. I used a sketch from Jenni_Z's Gallery as the basis. I have used sticky-backed velum to add some bold colour (the red is actually a paprika colour) and the lyrics from 'My Father's Eyes' by Eric Clapton. The lyrics read: Then the light begins to shine, and I hear those ancient lullabies. And as I watch this seedling grow, feel my heart start to overflow. The title and words are hand doodled around the edges. Although everything looks a bit wonky, I promise that everything is straight IRL. :)
