The title of this page is from the song Edelweiss. I thought of Sound of Music when I saw my dd in this bucket hat, then the song played in my head, and I haven't been able to get rid of it since! I used two BG tags, one for the pocket (just added self-adhesive mini pop dots along the edges), and the other as the hidden journaling. In keeping with the flower theme, I made the white beaded flower and attached it to the journal tag for easy access. The hidden journaling reads: Dearest Abigail, This picture is the last one I took of you at 5 mo. of age. (SNIFF SNIFF)
Tomorrow you turn 6 mo. old. While I am ecstatic about your growth, I am mourning the end of another month. With Andrew, I was in a hurry for him to grow up, because of all the excitement and newness of his milestones. Now that I know how quickly you kids grow, I cherish and treasure all the days you stay "little." Most importantly, I have learned to live in the moment. Love, mommy
