I did this up using a photo by Ellen Branstiter for a digital challenge by Oletta (see original photo at http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/47628/view/771941/-1/0/1.html). I changed the perspective and scale of the photo as well as filtering it and adding a lighting effect. I used a lace brush from www.obsidiandawn.com and overlayed it on the background; I also distorted it. In a way, the lace is meant to represent sound coming from the trumpet. My inspiration for going with lyrics from Beethevon's 9th ("Ode to Joy") is from my own experience playing horn. It remains one of my favourite pieces to play (and I like to think this angel, if given the choice, would choose it too). The smaller image is pixelated quite a bit so click and then zoom in to get a view of the full image. TFL!
