Wow. This is awesome. What a great way to celebrate his life in a month that will be very difficult! I will keep you in my prayers. We have several anniversaries of deaths this month too. May sucks ! ;-|

I just had to comment on this one. It is the greatest!! The part about Halloween and your dolls made me laugh so hard. And those sweet dad things....sniff.... Just in one simple page you conveyed his "dad philosophy" and made me think I need to be having even more fun!!

I'm so sorry for the loss of your dad. Obviously he was a wonderful man, and loved you so very much. The mashed potato thing sounds just like my dad and his throwing of bread across the table at most every meal just to make my mom mad, lol! It sounds like you have wonderful memories of a most wonderful man!

oh my goodness girlfriend.....you're making me cry!!!!!! I don't know what I love the most, the mashed potato fight and the boyfriend climbing under the table, the singing of "ring of fire" (LOVE that song) sunday morning while fixing breakfast ( I can just imagine that!) or the part about leaving the note on your car to call home. Sigh........that journaling alone, got me. This all looks fantastic, love the frames, the paper, the photos are priceless...this is a treasure.

I love it just the way it is, a beautiful tribute to your dad, but if you really aren't happy with it yet, maybe a pic of him behind the writing, a little transparent and fading into the background. Perfect opportunity for a big pic of your lovely dad. Just a suggestion, it may not work, and like I said I love it just the way it is.
