This is for the next round of the Paper Crafts Gallery Idol contest. I fell in love with this paper when I first saw it..I really liked the springy colors and the elegant pattern, so I chose it and went from there for my design! The butterfly rub on was applied to a transparency and folded to create a 3D effect and let it pop up off the card. I machine stitched around the edges of the paper for a border. Supplies: Paper: K&Co., Trim: Wrights, Ric rac: Offray, Journaling spot: Foofala Red Black and Cream collection, Swirls: Damask Rub ons by Imaginisce, Butterfly rub on: My Mind's Eye (mounted on a transparency), "thank": DCWV rub ons, Painted diamond transparency: Lil Davis, Flower: Prima, Button: Blumenthal Lansing, U: Doodlebug, Silver brad, Machine stitching.
