Miss J's dress for the Sr. Prom 2007
Journaling on r page says: OMG, That Dress!!! You can't imagine
how we searched for that perfect dress.
We began our search in Austin, thinking
surly we will find something she would
love, but of course that was not the case.
So we spent a weekend in San Antonio.
One store after another. We Went to specialty
shops, bridal shops, department stores, but
to no avail. Finally we went to Houston to
visit Aunt Pat. We shopped for 8 hours.
And then , there it was. In a store called
Tootsie's in the Galleria area. Could
this be the one. It was a little pricey.
She hesitated because it was more than we
planned to spend. But dad was ready to
buy almost anything. Believe it or not we
went to a couple of more shops, but finally we
convinced her that she should go take another
look at "That Dress". She put it on again and
that was it. The perfect dress.
