My MIL asked me to do this LO (I hope she'll like it :)) about how our niece baby Madison was miraculously healed. She was born 6 weeks premature and had a serious disorder with her optical nerve that could cause total blindness. Now, all she needs is a pair of glasses until she's old enough to have a refractive surgery. I didn't include the second page of this LO because it's pretty personal, it's basically her dad's more detailed account of what happened and how he and his wife felt. *Journaling's written by my MIL*: One day in January of 2007, I was visiting with the grandkids when I discovered a package that Melissa had sent to me. I opened it quickly, figuring these were the latest pictures of Madison. Jonathan and Sylvia stood by expectantly watching as I opened the envelope. I pulled out the photos and shared them with the kids. Jonathan asked me, "Can I have one of these pictures, Grandma?" I asked him, " Why do you want a picture?" He replied in the most tender moment, "So I can put it by my bed and it will remind me to pray for her at night." I was awed by that response! Sylvia piped in quickly, "Me too! Can I have one too so I can pray for baby Maddie too?" Who could ever resist such a grand request! These two are mighty special kids and their parents are pretty great folks too to train their children up like this. Lord, thank you for these two grandchildren. They have hearts set upon You at such young ages. I am excited that You brought them to us! Thank you, Jesus! (This was the time when Madison was having problems with her eyes. Their prayers were answered as Madison's eyes were healed by Jesus!). TFL!
