Shh...our secret

A picture of my DS at the beach this winter. Hidden journaling: At 8 you are growing so fast and shunning all things "babyish". Especially kisses. Everynight when we tuck you in you yell no kisses just hugs. Every night I kiss you anyhow, and you try to squirm away. Well one night I just didn't want to hear you yell so I gave you lots of hugs, no kisses. When I stood up to leave the room you asked why didn't you kiss me? I answered that I thought you didn't want kisses anymore. Then you answered but mom I have to say that but you still have to kiss me anyhow. OK buddy I will, it's our secret. Love you, momma
