This LO was another HOF submission - color watch assignment.
Journaling: Looking at this picture makes me smile. You are such a handsome little boy with your daddy’s long eyelashes and pretty brown eyes and your mommy’s big pretty smile! My handsome sweet love bug, I love you, today and always.
Special Techniques: I inserted 2 eyelets in the chipboard heart on the photo and added ribbon.
I used a white pen to trace the clay letters and then covered with paper glaze to add shine and a lightly swirled look to mimic the background.
I drew freehand and cut the large background heart, inked and then stitched to the layout with a sewing machine.
I used deep red as my focal color coupled with neutrals and hearts to convey the emotion of love.
