First I thought.. what a funny picture and what cool flowers... then I read your journaling and was really touched. What a sweet message to your son. What a joy he must be to you!
This is great LuAnn. That photo is awesome, it's not often you see any man on the floor letting loose like that. Your journaling is very heart warming. AWESOME job on the flowers.
This LO is my version of sketch #5, and is for the Keyword w/a twist challenge. It is a rare photo of my oldest DS just letting go and having fun. The journaling reads, "Life has not been all that easy for you, being the oldest child from a broken home. You did your best, even at 3 years old, to be the "man" of the family and a role model for your brother. I never tried to push you into that role, you just assumed it naturally. You are a leader; it is the way you are built. Because I am a single Mom, I know that there were many times that I expected you to be the mature son, probably more than I should have, so if your childhood suffered because of me, I truly apologize. Despite all of the mistakes and bad choices that I have made in our lives, I see that you have still become a responsible, caring young man. I want you to know that I am proud of you; so much more than you can imagine. During the rare moments that I see you laugh like this, my heart is warmed, tears come to my eyes, and I know that all is right with your world. James, I love you, now and forever."
