No challenge here, just a LO I needed to do for journaling sake. Floral design is by Scrapbook Answers. Journaling reads: The disciples in the book of Mathew asked Jesus to teach them how to pray and the first two words he taught them was “Our Father.” “Our Father.” There is healing in just those two words. There’s a sense of belonging. There’s a sense of identity. That if he is my father, then I have to be his child. This song is for people in the natural who it seems they don’t have someone to look up to. A hero. A mentor. A comforter. A protector. For anyone who longs to have a father to look up to, these lyrics are for you:
“You’re my son. You’re my daughter. And I’m proud to be called Your Father. No more an orphan. Just cry Abba. For you will never be alone. You will never be alone.”
Rejection, intimidation, insecurity, low self esteem and bitterness often take root in children who have fatherless homes. And the effects that these root systems have in the life of a child are often seen in sexual perversions of all kinds, addictions of all kinds, body mutilation, and violence. But I serve a father who is the Father to the fatherless and when he’s your Father, he gives you the identity you need. He give you the security. He gives you the esteem that you need. For the Father’s love is perfect and he cast out all fears. And I declare right now to you that you will no longer need to walk in rejection, bitterness, intimidation and fear. I speak of a revelation that the Father’s love will be revealed in your life and take hold of you and sexual perversions just break off of you. Addictions of all kinds just break off of you. Body mutilations just break off of you. I speak life. I speak holiness. I speak security. I declare that you are the sons and daughters that the earth has been croning for. I speak that it is time now for you stand up and take your place in the royal family that you’ve been adopted into.
“You’re my son. You are my daughter. And I’m so proud to be called your Father. No more an orphan. Just lift your hands and cry Abba. You will never, never be alone. No, you will never be alone. I am your God. I am your Father. I will never leave you. Never forsake you. You’re not an orphan. You’re not an orphan. You will never be alone. You will never be alone.
No more rejection. No more intimidation. No more low self esteem. No more fear. No more bitterness. No more insecurity. For I am with you always. Even til the end of the age. I will be your Father when you have no one else to turn to. You’re Daddy’s boy! You’re Daddy’s girl! I’m proud of you. I love you! I made you! You’re wonderfully and fearfully made in my image and there’s nobody that can take you out of my hands. You are mine and I always take care of my own.
Others may fail but I won’t. Others may walk away but I will always be there. I’ll carry you when you can’t do it by yourself. There’s no one who loves you more than I do. There’s no one who would die for you like I did for you. There’s no one who will sacrifice more than I sacrificed for you because I love you. More than anything else I’ve ever created. I love you!” --Lyrics by Eddie James
