A page from my first scrapbook. Pocket journaling reads: A night at the Globe Theatre. My first live production of a Shakespearean play. The Merchant of Venice. The theatre was beautiful - built to the specifications of the original Globe theatre. It started raining midway through, stopped and restarted when a character stated the line "there will come soft rains." There were characters in costume milling through the crowd before the play. Our seats were on the balcony level, third story. I was glad for that once it started raining. It was a great evening.
