Absolutely beautiful, Angela. I love the hands & what your wrote. Most importantly, I love that you were able to capture & express this moment in a way that was healing to you. Wonderful, wonderful job! Sending you big hugs too.

This layout is for the "When I Grow Up" project that the Scrap Happenzz women are doing. The 8th journal prompt was to describe something that changed or didn't go "according to my plans." Tough one! The hands are mine and my 1st daughter's which I traced from her actual handprint. The circle underneath flips open to hidden journaling and a 4 x 4 photo of us. The photo is too personal to show but the journaling reads: "Dear Abigail, I will never forget the moment I found out you had died and that you, my first born, would be born still. So many regrets, so many 'what ifs' but, ultimately I have to decide to remember you and hold your honour by living life *now* with no regrets, without hesitation. For me my life is now "before you" and "after you". Before is what it is. After is me now: I'm a really great mom, a more empathetic person and I try to take in life and what matters most - the people around me. Always, your Mom" This was the hardest layout I have *ever* done but, truth is, it was therapeutic too so I'm thankful it's done (it is the only thing related to this that I have *completed*). TFL.
