Love Bjork. Have you seen "Dancer in the Dark"? I like your idea and your story, and those funny story titles. My only suggestion would be to make notches on the top corners and, maybe, use the white pen to draw out some lines from the tops of those spines to indicate pages so that the pp look less like strips and more like books.
This is for a "When I Grow Up" project with the Scrap Happenzz critique group. Journal prompt 4 was to describe my 1st high school job. The scan cut the very top part of this off but what it says is: "I wanted cash, moolah, money & some swank shoes so I got me...My First High School Job. When I was 15, I worked in a library. I loved the books; the Hindi ones with the curry aroma, the Chinese and Hebrew that I put away right to left. It was peaceful and I worked with people my age. The pay was good so I also earned myself my first non-bargain store clothes. It was a place I belonged. (Bob ******, rest in peace)." The reference in brackets is to a coworker who took his own life when he was 16; a real wake-up call for me. Two of the books are titled "2 Cans of Jolt" and "Junk Food For Lunch" (pretty much what I lived on when I worked there). I do love Bjork so I had to throw her song lyric in there. I thought the BG Phoebe paper worked best as a shelf of books and a book-end on this one. TFL!
