"August, '06. This is how your eye looked for a few weeks after the surgery. It didn't seem to bother y ou at all, you never rubbed it. You did hate the eye drops we had to do daily, and I had to explain to many people that you did not have pink eye!"
The title, journaling, doodles, and owl are hand drawn. I don't know if you can tell, but the owl's eye is red too. Inside the big letter "d" is an embelly that says, "you are special."
