Oh Susan this is just wonderful! First of all that is one of my favorite songs!! But my goodness what beautiful things you have included along side your daughters' photo!! Ths white design, the pink heart strip on the left and the lace on the right. And then there is that huge gorgeous flower, the cameo, the key and clock!!! Sorry, I just love it all!!
This is just beautiful, Susan! I love the colors, the flowers and the little touch of lace makes it so classy. It's not overboard...it's perfect. Awesome work there, my friend!
I so love that song. *sigh* This is a lovely layout. I especially like the vintage looking button in the center of the flower, and the touch of lace bordering your PP. Very nice, delicate touch. Good job!
Gasp! What an amazingly GORGEOUS layout this is! I soooo love this photo, and the curves and title are just perfect here! So much to look at...and so tastefully done...Wow, again for this really wonderful work of art!!! Into my faves!
This is such a gorgeous page Susan! I love it all, the flowers, doodling, the lace...everything! And everytime I hear that song, it brings tears to my eyes, my Mom sang it at my wedding:)
What a beautiful layout lush with all the colors and flowers that are due when discussing mother/daughter love. I love the lace trim used to separate the brown cs from the pink pp and how can you go wrong when embellishing with hearts and flowers. perfect.
Susan this is fantastic! Love how you arranged the colors. That ivory lady is so beautiful in the flower - nice embellishment. Great picture of the girls and the journaling is very special. With the key, lace, flowers and colors, it has a very Victorian feel to it. Fabulous!
Recent picture of my girls. I think I might have been a little overboard on this LO! LOL This didn't turn out quite like I had envisioned it! This is for the May Doodle Challenge; May Keyword Challenge and the May Color Challenge...Whew! Journaling is behind the picture and reads:
In my daughter's eyes, I am a hero. I am strong an' wise, And I know no fear. But the truth is plain to see: She was sent to rescue me, I see who I wanna be, in my daughter's eyes.
In my daughter's eyes, everyone is equal, Darkness turns to light, And the world is at peace. This miracle God gave to me, Gives me strength when I am weak. I find reason to believe, in my daughter's eyes.
An' when she wraps her hand around my finger, Oh, it puts a smile in my heart. Everything becomes a little clearer. I realize what life is all about. It's hangin' on when your heart has had enough; It's givin' more when you feel like givin' up. I've seen the light: it's in my daughter's eyes.
In my daughter's eyes, I can see the future. A reflection of who I am, An' what will be. An' though she'll grow up - someday leave, Maybe raise a family, When I'm gone, I hope you'll see, How happy she made me, For I'll be there, in my daughter's eyes. Sung by Martina McBride
