This is for the Feel Good Challenge, the Chipboard Challenge and the Inking Challenge. I really struggled with this lo. I was so aware of how others only see parts of me and so I had the idea of taking a picture and removing a piece, like an old mosaic. I stuck the picture to a large chipboard tile and then cut it to size. I then mounted my 15 words on the back. I then cut the tile into 16 smaller tiles and removed one. I had to make a grid for the tiles to sit in so that they wouldn't move, but also allow people to turn the tiles over, so I used a very tacky glue to draw out a grid. It dried and gave me a raised area to sit the tiles. I sanded all the tiles on both sides to give a worn edge.I used alcohol inks to edge all the pps and stamp the title. I outlined the title with a gel pen as the colour was a bit dull. Journalling reads: '3 people close to me had to describe me in 5 words. I am so flattered by their responses, but the more I read them, the more I realise something. So much of me is hidden – so much no-one ever gets to see. They don't see the whole picture.' I have included a close up of the tiles when they have been turned round. The words are: Caring, Creative, Confident, Fun, Friendly, Diligent, Loyal, Understanding, Trustworthy, Perfectionist, Reliable, Beautiful, Sincere, Conscientious, Witty. TFL!
