I think this is a great multi pic layout! I think the journaling box is fine as is but you could always add a tab or word strip to tie it in to the other 3 squares. Great colors!

Love the colors and quadrants. I would suggest playing with the embellies to see which looks best on the journaling block. Your stitching and title circle are awesome.

I love your title circle!! For the journaling block, you could add a photo corner to it, like in the alternate picture, or one of those cute little word tabs, just to give it continuity. I think it's very sweet!
