I just love this page!! your journaling is wonderful and I love your sense of humour!! your daughter takes a great picture, funny that we have to rely on our little ones just to get a photo of us, lol, my dd to mine too :D
I actually got a chill when I read some of your comments. Awesome to start with a strong adjective or noun and then describe it - I like this approach. Love the double take of you in the "mirror". Good luck with the contest.
This is for the May Do Yourself Justice challenge. The photo of me was taken by my four year-old daughter; I converted it to sepia and mirrored it. The journaling reads: "I am who I am because of...education (the first woman in my family to go to university); direction (my parents did their best to raise me with values); faith (it's been a struggle but I do know what I believe); love (I have been surrounded by authentic love); coffee (it helps keep me awake for at least 8 hours a day); humour (note previous comment about coffee); motherhood (my children are my daily life's breath); perserverance (knowing when strong is right and weak is okay); life (it picked up where education left off); me (otherwise, who am I?)" Oh, PS, the photo was her revenge...I was taking photos of her while tickling her so she insisted on taking ones of me laughing too!
