*******Journaling: I think I’ve got a smart one here! Brian, lately numbers of all kinds are your latest fascination… everything from peoples’ ages and weight to how much money people on game shows win. You’re obsessed with the fact that after you’re 4 years old you can go to preschool, and when you’re 12 you can where deodorant (don’t ask how that came up), and that about the time Jackson turns 1 he’ll be able to walk. You associate all numbers 1-10 by Thomas the Tank Engine and his friends and their coordinating numbers. You often count down from 10 (and are amazingly fast at it), but there are times you also (just as fast) go: “Douglas-Donald-Toby-Duck-Percy-James-Gordon-Henry-Edward-Thomas!!” (And yes I had to ask you about those to make sure I had the right engines with the right numbers.) The last week or so you entertain us by counting to 110 at least twice a day. I told you to go ask dad how to count to 1,000 and all I got was a look.  I’m so glad you love numbers, but even more, I love that you love to learn!
