Fun LO :) All the activity - pictures, journaling really emphasize real life and how hectic it is w/ young kids (um... don't look at MY house...) I'm going to side w/ Amy about being better for the Elsie challenge than SOY. If your style was just like Elsie, that'd be one thing -- but this is really different than your other work and thinking strategically, you want your style to stand out and be recognizable.

I like it... But maybe it's too chaotic for SOY? Lets see what others say. I just remember that for HOF they seemed to pick winners whos layouts were more clean... Not that I don't LOVE how you did this layout. That word "day" on the transparency is flippin' cool! And I absolutely love how you've done the journaling in different colors. You go girl!
