ok... so i just had to get motivated to do this, but it's time. i really want all of the pictures (and the journaling that goes with them) in the books i will be making for the kids so i have to redo my portrait pages since shutterfly can only make 8.5x11 books in landscape style. plus... these were all done very soon after my conversion from paper to digital, so i hadn't really found my groove yet, so it will be nice to put my established little stamp on them. =) anyway... the little corner thingy's inspired by H@Nn@. just a perfect little way to ensure balance!!! thanks for the idea, girl!!

JOURNALING: Confessions of a little boy's mom. I have pretended to be a pink power ranger. I have jumped into mud puddles. I have watched an episode of Teen Titans by myself just to see if Tara would fall for Beast Boy or sell her soul to Slade. I have sparred using the latest Power Ranger karate kicks. I have participated in discussions about Star Wars (something I know absolutely nothing about). I have worn Batman’s mask, Rockman ‘s hands, Super Man’s cape, and held Luke’s sword while defeating Darth Vader. I have thrown water ballons into fences, rocks into lakes, and darts into targets. But in the center of all of these “boy” activities, I have learned the sheer delight of watching you embrace who you are becoming. My desire to play in a much more “girl-friendly” manner NEVER exceeds my desire to spend time with you. I may sometimes resist when it comes time to play boy games on the XBox, but I know that one day, those times will have added to the depth of which you feel love by me. And that, my sweet boy, is more important to me than all of the make-up and nail polish in the world!!
