These photos came out kind of grainy and dark, but I really wanted to scrap them anyway, as they were from the first photo session I actually caught her big open mouthed smiles in. The film stips somehow make the dark and graininess okay. I don't know if these are still being made, but they are rather cute. I still am having problems with my photo's coming out in such a way that the elements in my pages look crooked, but they are measured and placed in beautifully.
Journalling reads:

We saw your first toothless smile, believe it or not, the day we got home from your two week doctors appointment. You were sitting on the couch in your boppy, and you looked right at me (Mommy) and you made the most adorable little face...it took a moment, but I finally realized that you were smiling at me! At least, I was pretty sure it wasn't just gas! A couple days after that, it was my turn to go see th doctor for my post-surgical check-up (which I aced!) and as Doctor Valenti looked at you and gave you a big smile, gave him an ear-to-ear grin right back! He was very excited, and gave us his theory-you're a smart one! We think he's right! You smiled off an on for a little while after that, but it was a good three weeks before you really started to give your big, gummy grins at anything and everyone when you're happy. Your favorite smiley times are when you're playing in your blue bouncy seat and looking at all your toys, and when people make big surprised faces at you. Maybe that's why your smile is a big "O" and your eyes get all big and surprised looking! I love how your smile lights up your whole entire face. You get so bright and beautiful when you're happy!
