Angela - thanks for the explanation . . No worries though. I appreciate feedback and I need to learn to just accept constructive criticism. Welcome to the boards and thanks for looking at my gallery.
I am so sorry that my posting caused any strife. I was made aware privately that I hurt zazu's feelings and I sent her a personal apology in the email, before I even realized it was posted on the forum.
I am new to the forum (pleased to meet you all) and I guess I have not learned the mannerism of it all yet. I really did mean it as a compliment! Just because I might do things different, does not mean anything was wrong with what you did! Hopefully I will get to post some of my own pages soon, and might find myself being somewhat sensitive about them as well. I would also invite some constructive criticism, but can understand that some might not.
Like I said, I am sorry if I hurt feelings! I believe in doing a public apology when something like this occurs, and hope everyone will give me second chance. Honestly, when I was typing that I wondered if it would be taken as something bad. When I am going to learn to trust my gut instinct, I don't know, but I should have. Thank you! God bless!
(LOL. Did not know this was not refered to as a "collage." Learn something new everyday!)

I love this lo. The striped paper (while ususally something I would steer away from) looks great. I may have to venture out of the box and try some striped paper. Thanks for inspiring me.

Emily I think this is great! You utilized your photos well, and i especially like how your photo mats on the let match the stripes on the right! great job!
I think it looks clean and fun and came out just the way you intended. It's well balanced, the colors are vibrant, and I love that monkey in the middle! Great job, as always!
Love the collage look. Not sure I am crazy about the stripped paper, sorta detracts from the pictures. I think I wouldve choosen a natural color, like beige, but the colors coordinate well anyway! I may have to take this and use it sometimes (minus the stripes!) as a layout idea.
pics from the San Diego Wild animal park. Thanks for looking! The "WILD" was cut from some groovy giraffe print velvety paper. I got it at a scrapbook expo at an SEI booth.
