This, is an Iver Johnson Double Action Model 1900 revolver, from around 1900, with a custom owl decal (we think) on the handle.

I'm scrapping it becuase of how I came to own it- the found it in my mothers wall when they were remodeling. Yes, in the wall. Sealed in and everything. The house is only from 1940 or so, and we are completly baffled. The pencil sharpener was included becuase I wanted to show how completly tiny this thing is. Everyone who knows anything about guns has taken one look at it, and called it a "Saturday Night Special", which I guess means its a cheap, poorly constructed little thing. Which it is- You can see above the trigger that part of it is being held on by wire. Also, the bit that holds bullets keeps, well...falling out. I'm just way too amused by this situation. No, no bodies found yet- but nobodys done any remodeling in the basement.

Anyways, I'm not completly happy with the LO itself- I wanted old-timey, but I'm worried its too bland, and too buisy. This is NOT my normal color pallet, so I'm a bit out of my element. Usualy I like to go much brighter. I am very open to sugestions.

Oh, yeah, and as always, no journaling on the page becuase this page, when finished, will go into my journal, across fromt he corresponding journal entry.
