This is our sweet little Maltese, Murphy.

Journaling:
Doing “roll over” again and again: Rolling over here! I’d like a treat!

Standing by the back door, twirling in circles: Potty! Potty! My potty is on the other side of this door!

Waiting at the bottom of the stairs and barking after we’ve gone up to bed: Hey, I haven’t eaten my dinner yet, and you know how I hate to eat alone. Someone come down here and join me!

Dropping your “hedgehog” toy in front of us then picking it up and biting on it constantly so it makes a noticeable squeaking noise: You look like you could use some quality time with me. I’ll give you my hedgehog so you can throw it. Don’t you feel better?

Whining hysterically and scratching at the glass slider: Squirrel in the yard! This time I can catch him!

Perching on the arm of the sofa with your tail wagging furiously so we’re sure not to overlook you when we come home: Boy, I missed you! I’m so glad your home! Did you miss me! Pet me quick!
