I had pancreatitus in 2005. The journaling would be a lot to re-type, since it includes what is visible along with the pull-out tags. In short: I was rushed to the ICU with life-threatening Pancreatitus, and spent the next 4 weeks in the hospital. My pancreas had swelled enough to bruise my lungs and there were many other symptoms that most people would rather not read about. :) So I journaled about who all pitched in to watch my kids while I was sick or having my surgery. The pull-out tags have information about how the surgery is performed, along with diagrams. That's all to help explain it to my kids when they are older. They just remember me being gone for a month.
