for the Then and Now Challenge... (and maybe the Lucky 7).. Journaling: I asked my husband to journal this layout for me and to give me a title for it. Whe he saw it, he said, "Some things never change." When i asked him about that statement, he said, "Well, I'm still underneath the hood of a car." When he was 21 years old, he rebuilt the engine of a 1970 Nova. He was between assignments (Air Force) and spending some time at home. He said that this car was the only material thing he owned at the time. He spent his leave time working on this project. Now, nearing the mid-century mark, he's busy rebuilding a 1951 Ford Custom. I'm in awe of his ability to build an engine from scratch and make it work. Apparently, it's a talent he's had for some time.
