LOL, ok I'm adding a disclaimer: I usually do my journaling ahead of time. I just write it when a topic comes into my head so I don't forget it then create the LO later when I have pictures to go with it. Hence: "quickie" :) Ok back to the regularly scheduled program..................Quickie digi LO for tonight. My little dude playing in the backyard yesterday. Who would've thought I'd have so much to say about it, lol! ..........Journaling: Baby boy, I could go on and on about every cherished little detail. I take notice, I love every bit of it. Someday when I’m scrubbing dirt from under your nails for the 15th time that day, I want to remember how soft and squishy those hands once were. Someday when you scrape your knees learning how to ride a bike, I want to remember how I insisted on rubbing lotion on those knees hour after hour because the sight of rug burn from crawling was too much for me to bear. Someday when I am begging you to get your hair cut, I want to remember that once upon a time I couldn’t stand the thought of trimming off a millimeter, regardless of the fact that it fell in your eyes. Someday I’ll want to remember these things. So right now, this day, I’m taking notice. the way you curl up your toes whenever you’re sitting down. the rug burn on your knees that proves you’re a baby on the move. the way nothing in this house is safe from being slimed by a teething baby. the tousled hair that i just can’t bring myself to cut. the pudgy little hands with dimples on every knuckle. the way you sing to yourself, especially at bedtime. your laugh, a true baby chuckle if ever there was one. the way you play drums on the kitchen floor every morning. all that and more. . . Remembered 05.29.07......TFL!
