Journaling Reads: I don't remember the exact date when this story took place, but it's a memory I never want to forget. It was a weekday morning and I was getting ready for work. I was pregnant with Matthew at the time and none of my "regular" clothes was fitting me right. I was frustrated and was complaining to Dad that I had NOTHING to wear. I eventually found something to wear and I was in Katherine' room helping her get ready for daycare. When, unexpectedly, I felt a small tug on my blouse. When I looked down, there was Gabriel (who was 3 years old at the time); with his big brown eyes shining up at me and with the biggest smile spread across his face. In his little hands he was holding one of his little red T-Shirts. He held up the T-Shirt and said in the cutest little voice, "Here Mom, you can wear my shirt". My heart just melted and I was filled with so much love. I bent down and give him the biggest hug. Unfortunately, time has washed away most of my memory of that day, but I will never forget that moment of pure unconditional love. Today, thirteen years later, Gabriel is just as giving and loving. I hope he will always stay this way, and find as much love and happiness as I felt on that one unforgettable morning.
