I alos like your heart punch. It works great for making butterflies too. A nice touch to add a heart-shaped center!

Yes, the daisies are stickers. They had green centers which didn't match so that's where the little hearts come in. No, I didn't have a template. I just moved the pics around till I liked them and then cut pieces to fill the empty spaces. I like my little heart punch too. I haven't had it very long but have used it plenty already.

Your first attempt looks pretty darn good to me!! Did you use a template for the colorblocking?? Are the daisies the sticko... stickers?? Cool heart. Pretty touch. I was thinking of getting a heart punch but decided against it. I might change my mind soon. TFS

Yes, this is the layout I couldn't post. I finally figured it out but messed up the first scan in the process. Man, I have a lot to learn!

Is this the layout that was giving you such a hard time on posting/ What a very special thing to do and what a sweet layout to commemorate this wonderful gift.! I like the way you colorblocked and think there is no particular way it is supposed to look. If it looks good, who cares! Libby
