It's a beautiful LO, and the message is inspiring. I like your use of the doodles with the flowers. Good job! (Sorry the grandkids are so far away. That's a bummer. We're in south Florida and our grandson is in the Atlanta area. Why would anyone live in Atlanta instead of a tropical paradise!?!)
this is freakin awesome! love the journaling! isn't it amazing how we can view life and the God's pops one of His promises in there and it turns it all around again? so great, saving to my faves simply to look at and get refreshed whenever i need it. great photo btw!
I love it!! I love the doodling, the photo, the journaling, the flowers...it all fits so well together! Thank goodness for rainbows! Thank you for sharing you did a GREAT job!
WOW...that pages is fantastic! Love your photo and especially love your journaling of gratitude. Rainbows are powerful reminders. You have done a beautiful job with your LO - love the flowers, too.
Rainbows are amazing...God gives us rainbows after the rain to let us know that he will never fllood the earth again....they are wonderful little endings to a rain storm...this page is amazing!
I really love the journaling on this. I love the rain for this exact reason. I really hate the rain because it is dreary and I feel like staying inside and sleeping. But then I think about what happens when the rain comes. The flowers bloom, the grass turns green and I love the smell in the air when it rains. And then I love it!! We all need to be reminded that sometimes the "rain" is part of life and that without it nothing beautiful would grow. :) Thanks for sharing!! Beautiful job!
The rainbow is magical and so is this lo!!! I loved your story....inspirational! I love how you used rainbow coloured flowers as your embellies and those swirls are gorgeous. Really love this.
OMGosh! I'm so happy to have found this beautiful LO. I hope you don't mind if I "lift" it. I believe that's the "truest" form of a compliment! This will be perfect for my current project. Thanks so much!

Journaling:
I was sitting on the patio after work one evening, feeling slightly sorry for myself. I had been suffering from job burnout after 14 years at the same job and the fourth day in a row of working overtime. I was also wondering why two of my three grand-children had to live so far away. I couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting to see them grow up. Why isn’t life exciting? Why do I have to grow older and older. How did I get to be a grand- mother anyway? And why did it have to rain today when I just wanted to sit on the patio without getting wet? About that time the clouds parted and a ray of sun shined brightly through the rain. As I looked up again I saw it . . . a beautiful, bright rainbow. It was dazzling and I was in awe. I grabbed the camera and hurriedly took a few photos. But the rainbow didn’t fade as they usually do. It stayed brightly colored in all its glory for a long time. During that time I started thinking. I have a very good job. It pays well and I am very comfortable in my job. I live in a nice, middle-class home that I love. I have my own scrap room. All three of my grandchildren are happy and healthy. My children are terrific parents. I got to be a grandmother by raising an amazing family. My children are now teaching my grandchildren the same values that my mother and father taught me. I am a very lucky lady. I also realized that life is exciting if you make it exciting. And it was raining so that the corn, beans and other crops, in the newly planted fields, would sprout and grow. Wow, all this from a rainbow? You bet! Rainbows do have magical powers and the dreams that you dream on them really do come true! -April, 2007
I printed the photo on white textured cardstock and was surprised that it turned out as clear and beautiful as the original photo.
