I love the arrow pointing from the lake to the fish! Very nice touch. I like the title and the photo placement, as well. I don't think the pics need to be matted, but I suggest taking one of those brown circles in the pp and placing it over the top right corner of that lake photo. I also like the three brads next to the journaling. You listed the heart clip in your products, but I don't see it on your page. I think it would go well connecting the photos of each of you. I'd place it where they are flush against each other toward the right side where you see the flash right now. Inking the white cs in brown is a good idea, too.
I love how you used the products that were sent--great way to work them in...(I have to admit that photo of 1/2 a fish is freaking me out a bit, such a city girl!) I do agree about matting the photos.
Great job, Jess! Very creative use of the puzzle pieces. It looks like a beautiful day and I'll bet it was HOT! Almost as hot as the little cutie with the red tank! Great pictures. Icky fish. Nice job on the composition and photo placement. I agree with inking the outer edges of the white, but otherwise, I'm all good with this LO! Super!
I think I would mat the photos (even if it were just one large mat behind all of them) and ink the edges of the background cs to add some depth. Maybe ink the edges of the monos in the title too.
Great job on this jess! I would recommend some stamping or doodling...preferrably just a little doodling to add some visual interest, other than that, great LO.
Way cool use of the kit! Love the pp covered letters & arrow, photo corner & layering of ribbon. Nice selection of pics. Because I'm an ink addict, I see inking on the outer perimeter (green or brown) & maybe around the photos. Your use of this kit for this subject was fabulous - the greens really coordinate well w/ your LO!
Lucky 7 Contest entry. Journaling reads, "May 24, 2007. It was such a beautiful day, so we decided to go carp fishing at Garrison's Lake. It was a little hot, but we had so much fun, and caught a few fish!" This was for the SH Embellie Kit challenge. We got an envie of embellies and had to use 90% of the supplies. The puzzle pieces I cut and used as the photo corners, that i covered in the pp. The rest of the pp is either covering the chipboard pieces, or the rest of the title. Also in the kit was the ribbon, journaling block, and brads.
