left side of two page circle journal entry. topic was "My Hero". I hope you can read the text. It is taken from a letter a young soldier wrote to his father about what he would say to the American people. Very powerful. For me, this is not about Iraq, or any of the current conflicts as much as from every soldier who has ever defended us while we sleep safely in our beds at night throughout history.
