this is just so Krissy! Gorgeous! How clever are you in the photo alteration...outstanding - effort and eyes! I have never seen anyone do it better than you.....so much love and "Krissy" stuff on a LO and you make it come together so effortlessly. It is such art that one can study it for ages and still keep finding more! Beautiful work!
first, i love the rub-ons on the chipboard. i love the photo-editing....such amazing detail & texture & so much to absorb - but ya know what - those eyes HAVE IT!!
This is my baby Mason. He is the only member of our family to have these beautiful blue eyes. They are SO striking that I had to do a layout about them. I edited the pic with PSE 5, making it a black and white while leaving the eyes blue. *Thanks Linda*, I printed the pic on photo paper as well as onto a transparency. The edges of all the papers have been distressed with fluid chalk & a straight razor. I made the buttons by cutting matching CS and applying a rub-on, then gluing the CS to the back of a clear button. (Saw this in a mag). I stamped and heat embossed the stitching and the flourishes to make them stand out more. I doodled the perimeter of the layout with a souffle pen, and the word 'eyes' with a zig pen. I used rub-ons on the chipboard to add interest. I stepped WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY out of my comfort zone with these colors but am really happy with how it all turned out. Of course, it looks MUCH MUCH better IRL!! Thank you SO much for stopping in and taking a peek! *****************************
