A good friend just recently had her baby. She was a fellow teacher and she worked up until 3 days of delivering her little one.
Journaling reads:
It was somewhat bittersweet when I found out that Becky was pregnant. I knew it meant beginning a new chapter in her life but I also realized that it meant closing one. I always knew that when she decided to be a mom, she would say goodbye to teaching to stay at home to raise her kids. It’s just that I wasn’t expecting it to happen so soon. I know for her it means great expectations and I’m really happy for her, but I will really miss her companionship and collaboration.
